How we collect, use, and share information — including a plain explanation of what happens to your phone number and SMS opt-in when you send us a request, and how call recording works under California law.
Redding Pool Pro · Redding, CA · Last reviewed September 12, 2026
Redding Pool Pro is an independent referral service. We connect homeowners in the Redding, CA area with independent, third-party pool cleaning and equipment-repair companies — we do not clean pools or perform repairs ourselves. Always verify a provider’s license and insurance before hiring.
What information we collect
When you submit a request through this site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, city or ZIP code, and details about your pool and the service or repair you need. We also collect standard technical information automatically — IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit — through the cookies and similar technologies described below.
SMS opt-in data
If you provide a mobile phone number and check the consent box to receive text messages, we collect and store that number, the consent you gave (including the exact wording you agreed to and the date and time), and your message history with us, for compliance and service purposes. No mobile opt-in data or consent will be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. Your phone number is shared only with the specific independent pool service or repair company needed to fulfill your request — never sold, rented, or shared for unrelated marketing.
How we use your information
- To match your request with an independent, local pool cleaning or equipment-repair company and share the details that company needs to contact you about it.
- To send you service-related communications — confirming your request, following up on it, or letting you know which company will be calling — by phone, text, or email, consistent with the consent you gave.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this site, including understanding which pages and guides visitors find useful.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
How we share information — and the fulfillment-only rule
We are a referral service, not a pool company. To fulfill your request, we share your contact information and the details of your request with the specific independent, local company (or companies) we match you with. That is the only routine sharing we do with your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent records with any third party for marketing purposes. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect against fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, for analytics (understanding how visitors use the site), and to measure whether a visit resulted in a phone call or a form submission. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site functionality. We do not currently serve third-party advertising on this site.
Call recording
Calls to any tracked phone number on this site may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and lead-verification purposes. California is an all-party consent state for call recording — under California Penal Code § 632, every party to a confidential communication, including an ordinary phone call, must consent before it is recorded. Where call recording is enabled on our tracked number, you will hear a disclosure at the start of the call; continuing the call after that disclosure constitutes your consent to recording. If you do not consent, say so at the start of the call or hang up, and use the form on our contact page instead.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information you provide, including limiting access to lead information to what is needed to operate this service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
- Opt out of texts: reply STOP to any text message from us at any time to stop receiving further messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Access, correct, or delete your information: California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold about them, to request its correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Anyone, resident or not, can make the same request through the contact page; we honor it subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of non-essential communications: you can ask us at any time to stop contacting you about anything other than a request already in progress.
- Do not sell or share: we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front — but you can confirm that with us at any time.
Children's privacy
This site and its services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
